The Cabinet of Ministers introduced annual bonuses for energy workers

The Cabinet of Ministers has introduced annual awards for power engineers who restore power grids after shelling. The decision was made to support industry workers.

“People who work around the clock, despite frost and snow, restore networks after shelling and provide cities and communities with light and heat, often risking their own lives, deserve the highest recognition and distinction,”emphasized Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.

According to the document, it is planned to award up to 50 awards each year in the amount of 200 thousand hryvnias. Funds for payments will be allocated from the state budget.

“The award should become an annual state award for professionalism and selfless work in the energy industry. This is an additional thank you from the state along with the monthly bonuses for repair crews, which we have introduced since the beginning of the year,” Svyrydenko said.
