The Cabinet of Ministers has submitted to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky a proposal on the appointment of new heads of regional military administrations in four regions. This was reported by Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko on her Telegram channel.
According to her information, these are candidates for the positions of heads of Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava and Chernivtsi regional military administrations. Before submitting the proposal, the government conducted interviews with the candidates.
Yulia Svyrydenko noted that the personnel decisions are part of the renewal of the management team initiated by the president. According to her, the key goal of the changes is to strengthen the capabilities of the regions – from defense issues and support for veterans to education, interaction with industry and community development.
Previously, Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced consultations on possible appointments of heads of OVAs in five regions: Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Ternopil and Chernivtsi. At the same time, People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak reported that initially the replacement of heads of regional military administrations in ten regions was discussed, but at this stage it is only about five regions.
