The Ministry of Economy approved the maximum grant for the restoration of destroyed production for the first time
The Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture, within the framework of the “Grants for Processing Enterprises” program, has approved the first grant for the restoration of production for a maximum amount of UAH 16 million. This was reported by the press service of the ministry.
A Kharkiv enterprise that produces nonwoven materials and was damaged as a result of Russian shelling will receive funding. The grant funds will be used to purchase and install new equipment. This is the second approved application for restoration within the framework of the program. The first grant recipient was a tea producer from Dnipro, whose factory was hit by an enemy drone.
In total, 34 new applications for a total of UAH 190.8 million were approved in the current wave of the program. In addition to the grant for restoration, 33 applications for the development of new or existing production were approved. Among the participants are manufacturers of food products, building materials, furniture, clothing, accessories, electrical equipment, cables, plastic and non-woven products, as well as enterprises in the metalworking industry.
“Business is actively using the opportunities provided by the program: since the beginning of 2025, the state has already approved 344 applications for grants for over UAH 1.75 billion. Funds can be received by both those who expand production facilities and those who restore them after shelling, ” — said Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture Andriy Telyupa.
Of the approved grants, nine in the amount of UAH 59.4 million will be financed by the Ministry of Economy, and another 25 by the State Employment Service.
