The Russian army attacked a number of regions of Ukraine with missiles and drones, there are dead and wounded
Starting from the evening of October 21, the Russian army massively attacked Ukraine with drones and missiles. In Novgorod-Siversky, 4 people were killed and some were injured in the attack. This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
“The enemy attacked Novgorod-Siversky with strike drones. As a result of the hit, a fire broke out in a residential building, and a strike was also recorded near one of the city’s medical institutions. According to preliminary information, 4 people were killed, 10 more were injured, among them a 10-year-old child”, the report says.
On the night of October 22, the Russian Federation attacked Zaporizhia with drones. Nine people were injured as a result of the impact, the number of victims is being specified. Several fires broke out: balconies on four floors of a residential building with an area of about 100 square meters were burning, four balconies in a five-story building with an area of 60 square meters caught fire, and a fire on the roof of a multi-story building was also extinguished. Rescuers evacuated residents from the danger zones, all emergency services are working on the site.

Russian troops carried out a drone strike on the city of Sumy. The hit was recorded on the roadway, causing damage to civilian cars and an infrastructure facility. The blast wave broke out windows in three multi-story buildings. Rescuers conducted emergency rescue operations at the scene and surveyed the area. According to preliminary information, 12 people were injured.
On the night and morning of Wednesday, October 22, Kyiv was hit by a combined Russian strike, resulting in hits in four districts of the city, Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported. In the Dnipro district, drone debris hit a 16-story residential building, causing a fire. One person died, ten were rescued.
In the Pechersk district, rocket debris was recorded – the fire was extinguished. In the Darnytskyi district, drone debris fell on the territory of an enterprise, which led to the ignition of a two-story building and a hangar. There, a 17-story residential building was also hit, where a fire started. In Solomyanskyi district, debris hit the territory of a garage cooperative.
The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachenko reported two deaths as a result of shelling. According to him, fires are still raging in the Pechersk and Desnyanskyi districts, and the number of casualties is being verified.
At night, the enemy again attacked the Poltava region. As a result of direct hits and falling debris, oil and gas facilities in the Myrhorod district were damaged. Fortunately, no one was injured, reported in the Poltava OVA.
