The Russian Federation attacked Kharkiv with anti-aircraft missiles: six people were injured, among them rescuers

Today, Kharkiv was again under attack by Russian troops, who used guided aerial bombs (UAVs), striking the city and surrounding areas several times. At this moment, it has been confirmed that at least six people were injured as a result of the shelling, four of them — rescuers who took part in extinguishing the fire.
Mayor of Kharkiv Ihor Terekhov reportedthat all victims are provided with the necessary medical assistance. The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration (KHOVA) Oleg Synegubov also added that one of the strikes by a guided aerial bomb was recorded in the village of Cherkaska Lozova, which is located near the city.
Sinegubov noted that another blow hit the forest strip near the shopping and entertainment center, which caused a fire. Rescuers were working on the spot, they were hit again, as a result of which four people were injured.
Local residents report that around 15:15 at least three powerful explosions were heard in Kharkiv. The blow fell on the Kyiv district of the city: one of the explosions occurred in an open area, and the second caused damage near residential areas.
Russian forces have recently stepped up air strikes on Kharkiv and its environs, using anti-aircraft missiles to launch long-range strikes, making them difficult for Ukrainian air defense systems to intercept.
