The Supreme Anti-Corruption Court has seized the house of an official of the Lviv tax service
The Supreme Anti-Corruption Court imposed an arrest on a residential building and a land plot belonging to Natalia Zholudieva, Deputy Head of the Department for Identification and Processing of Tax Risks of the Main Department of the State Tax Service in the Lviv Region. The property is located in the suburbs of Lviv, on the territory of the TERRA SOLIS cottage town.
According to the State Bureau of Investigation, in 2022 the official purchased a land plot of 5,350 square meters near the village of Zubra. Satellite images show that at the time of purchase, a house with a total area of 136.1 square meters was already on the territory, although ownership of it was declared only in 2024.
According to representatives of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, the real market value of the specified property is almost 6.8 million hryvnias. At the same time, in the documents, Nataliya Zholudieva indicated the purchase price of the land in the amount of 105,100 hryvnias. The prosecutor’s office emphasizes that this amount is significantly lower than market indicators and does not correspond to the financial capabilities of the owner.
According to the investigation, the deputy head of the unit of the Main Department of the State Tax Service and her husband did not have sufficient official assets to purchase such property. Due to the identified discrepancy, the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office plans to file a civil lawsuit to declare the assets unfounded and their subsequent confiscation in favor of the state.
The court’s decision imposed an arrest on the house and land plot in order to secure a future lawsuit. The restriction provides for a ban on the alienation or disposal of property, but does not deprive the owners of the right to use the specified property.
The law regarding the dubious assets of the Lviv official is under the control of anti-corruption authorities. In the coming hours, the court is to consider the issue of civil confiscation of property, which, according to prosecutors, was acquired without proper legal and financial grounds.
