The Ukrainian military hit a ship of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation near Novorossiysk

In the waters of the Black Sea near Novorossiysk, the Ukrainian military discovered and damaged a ship of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation, of which the enemy had only four left. This is reported by the press service of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

Special officers of the GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine tracked down and successfully hit a valuable enemy target – a ship of the MPSV07 multi-purpose vessel project, which is part of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation. Russia commissioned this ship in 2015.

Its cost is approximately 60 million dollars. There are only four such vessels in the Russian fleet. MPSV07 is equipped with modern diving complexes, remote-controlled devices, side-viewing sonar and radio-electronic reconnaissance equipment.

At the time of the attack, the ship was patrolling and conducting radio-electronic reconnaissance near Novorossiysk Bay, where the remnants of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation are based. According to the GUR, a Ukrainian combat drone hit the control bridge, where navigation and communication equipment is located. As a result of the attack, the electronic reconnaissance equipment was destroyed, and the ship was disabled, and now it is in need of expensive repairs. The attack took place on September 10, 2025.
