Thousands of Ukrainians abroad updated their military registration data through “Reserve+”: how to do it

During the five days of operation of the “Reserve+” application, more than 800,000 citizens of Ukraine updated their military registration data online. Ukrainians abroad also register for “Rezerv+”. Our compatriots in Poland are currently the most active.
How Ukrainians register abroad
The “Reserve+” application became operational on May 18. According to the data published by the Ministry of Defense, as of May 21, about 4,000 citizens who are currently abroad have updated their data. The largest number of such in Poland – more than 1.73 thousand Ukrainians in the neighboring country have successfully used the “Reserve+” application.
Our fellow citizens are also actively registering in Germany (1.37 thousand people) and Canada, where 443 Ukrainians updated their data.
How to update data through “Reserve+”
Citizens of Ukraine between the ages of 18 and 60 must update military registration data. The “Rezerv+” mobile application was created for conscripts in order to conveniently and quickly update personal data without visiting the TCC. This can be done from anywhere in the world.
Instructions for using the application:
- Step 1: Download the application to your smartphone using the Apple Store or Google Play Market
- Step 2: Open the application and log in with Bank ID and confirm the authorization in your bank’s application.
Importantly! Those who do not have accounts in any of the Ukrainian banks cannot register. Currently, the Ministry of Defense is working on adding an authorization function through Diya.
- Step 3: Enter your current phone number and residential address in the application. You can also specify an e-mail address if you wish. The application will “pull” the rest of the data from the bank’s database.
- Step 4: Create a passcode to log into the app in the future.
After that, the application sends a request to the “Oberig” registry to receive your credentials. After some time, you will receive a message with information about the current military registration data: status (registered/removed/excluded), date of last data update and reservation information (if applicable). In addition, you can view information about your military accounting specialty, rank and name of the TCC in which you are registered.
