US President Donald Trump said that the United States is “totally destroying” the terrorist regime in Iran, and also made it clear that new strikes are possible in the near future. He wrote about this on the social network Truth Social.
According to the US President, the Iranian naval forces have already been destroyed, and the country’s air force, as he claims, “no longer exists.”
“Missiles, drones and everything else are being destroyed, and their leaders have been wiped off the face of the earth. We have unprecedented firepower, unlimited ammunition, and plenty of time — see what happens to these crazy bastards today,” Trump wrote.
Earlier, Western media reported that during a virtual meeting of G7 leaders, Trump told his partners that Iran was preparing to surrender. The media also reported that the US president’s advisers were urging him to end the war as soon as possible, fearing a prolonged conflict, a sharp rise in oil prices, and possible political consequences, particularly before the congressional elections.
