Ukraine has stopped publishing information on electricity trading

In Ukraine, public access to information about electricity auctions was closed due to martial law. This restriction applies only to businesses and does not affect the public. About this informs “Market Operator” JSC.
“Given the state of war in the country and the enemy’s attempts to destroy our energy infrastructure, from today JSC “Market Operator” stops publishing on the website and Telegram channel information about electricity trading on the day-ahead and intraday market”, says the message.
The “Ukrainian Energy Exchange” also reported on the order of the Minister of Energy dated December 27, 2024. According to this document, which is intended for official use, information about auction ballots and weighted average prices remains closed until the end of martial law and for one month after its lifting.
At the same time, registered bidders who have technical access can view the necessary information directly in the trading system. The exchange emphasized that this decision is aimed at ensuring the security of the energy sector in wartime conditions.
