Ukrainian intelligence has exposed a network of enterprises that ensure the production of the latest Russian Su-57 fighters

The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine published a detailed register of enterprises that ensure the serial production of multi-role Su-57 fighters. An interactive 3D model of the aircraft and a list of 103 companies included in the production cooperation of the manufacturing country have appeared on the specialized portal War&Sanctions.

The published data allow you to trace the supply chains of components and identify key executors of Russia’s state defense order in the aviation industry.

The list of identified objects includes leading research institutes and industrial giants. In particular, the production involves St. Petersburg’s Krasny Oktyabr OJSC, which manufactures gas turbine engines-power units, and the National Institute of Aviation Technologies, which is responsible for the development of multifunctional cockpit glazing. Experts also identified the role of the Institute of Theoretical and Applied Electrodynamics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, which is working on a radio-absorbing coating to reduce the aircraft’s visibility, and YASHZ Avia LLC, which supplies the Russian Armed Forces with aviation tires for this type of fighter.

“A third of more than a hundred of these enterprises are still not subject to restrictions by any of the countries of the sanctions coalition, which allows them to maintain access to foreign technologies,” the press service of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense emphasized.

According to military intelligence, the absence of sanctions pressure on a significant part of the production base allows Russia to continue purchasing foreign components and equipment for the development of combat aircraft. This creates additional challenges for international security and emphasizes the need to expand restrictive measures to all levels of the military-industrial complex.

Previously, the same resource published information about 50 units of foreign machine tools and devices used by Russian ship repair yards to service the fleet.

“We have published data on foreign equipment used by shipbuilding yards to build ships in order to close the ways to circumvent restrictions,” — added the press service of the Ministry of Defense.

The publication of such information is aimed at mobilizing the international community to synchronize sanctions lists and block supply channels for critical technologies. The detailed description of the Su-57 fighter jet’s component base helps foreign governments and electronics companies strengthen control over the end use of their products. The GUR continues to collect evidence of the involvement of Russian civilian institutions in the implementation of military programs.

Systematic monitoring of the activities of the Russian defense sector remains a priority for Ukrainian special services. Exposing hidden participants in the production process allows for more effective counteraction to the country’s aviation potential buildup. It is expected that the materials provided will become the basis for new sanctions packages from partner states and international organizations.
