Ukrainian woman bought a 16th-century house in France for 45,000 euros and is restoring it with her family
Natasha, who moved to France with her husband and three children, became the owner of a 16th-century house and is gradually renovating it. On her social media, she says that she used to work as a journalist, and now she runs a blog in which she shows how their home is changing. Focus tells more about her experience.
“We bought a 16th-century house in France. We are in love with antiques and vintage, and I share our life – slowly, warmly and with love. We have 3 children, a dog and eternal renovation. We travel in a camper”, — she notes.
According to Natasha, the house is only three meters wide and 15 meters long. Closer to the courtyard, the room expands by about 20 centimeters.
“Our house is only three meters wide – very narrow, but 15 meters long. Closer to the courtyard, it opens up, expands, breathes more freely by as much as 20 cm. When we bought this house two years ago, it seemed almost like a palace to me,” she says.
The house cost the family 45 thousand euros. It has three full floors, each with an area of 45 square meters. Currently, the family lives on two floors, but according to the owner, there is already not enough space.
“It’s amazing how quickly you get used to everything good. Yesterday the house seemed huge, and today we dream of a renovated third floor. Sooner or later we will reach it,” she says, giving a tour of the settlement.
In the comments, users are actively discussing what they saw.
“I love creative, unconventional, brave people. Comfort, well-being, energy,” some write.
“As they say, if you like it… It looks terrible from the side – hello claustrophobia. There are no shots of you walking past when everyone is gathering,” others add.
