The Ministry of Defense introduces standards for food property of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is implementing the standardization of requirements for the equipment of the food service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This decision is of great importance for the unification of technical requirements during the purchase of equipment. About this reported in the Ministry of Defense.

“Until now, there were no uniform technical specifications for the property of the food service of the Armed Forces. Their introduction will allow to eliminate possible discrepancies in the requirements for equipment purchased for the Armed Forces, simplify the procurement process, ensure standardization and increase the efficiency of resource management.”, – said Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Dmytro Klimenkov.

The Ministry continues to improve the system of material and technical support to strengthen the support of the Defense Forces of Ukraine and increase the level of provision of servicemen. These measures are aimed at increasing the level of support of the army and creating uniform standards that will facilitate logistical processes and increase management efficiency.

Earlier, the agency initiated important changes in the system of support for military personnel during treatment and rehabilitation. Thanks to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers, the mechanism of providing improved food for servicemen in medical institutions of all forms of ownership has been improved.

“Every defender who puts their life on the line for our freedom deserves the best conditions for recovery. Not only do we provide our military with the care they need, but we also work to ensure that each of them feels supported and respected. This initiative is our response to their dedication and courage”, – stated in the notification.
