VAKS arrested Solsky’s deputy

On May 9, the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court (HCC) remanded Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Markiyan Dmytrasevich into custody until July 7. He is suspected of involvement in the case of the head of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, Mykola Solskyi, who is accused of seizing land in the Sumy region.

According to the investigation, the deputy minister, acting in the interests of a group of people, together with them organized and carried out the acquisition of a state-owned agricultural plot in the territory of Sumy region with an area of ​​about 2.5 thousand hectares, worth 291 million hryvnias.

At the same time, an alternative preventive measure was determined for him in the form of bail in the amount of UAH 20.28 million. In case of depositing funds, the deputy minister will be assigned a number of duties, in particular, to hand over foreign passports and wear an electronic bracelet.

We will remind that Solsky are suspected of illegally taking possession of state land worth 291 million hryvnias.
