Volodymyr Zelenskyi is actually being forced to sit down at the negotiating table with Russia: WELT

Considering the situation at the front, the President of Ukraine has no other choice due to pressure from “partners”. Volodymyr Zelensky is left with no other option but to sit down at the negotiating table with the Russian Federation. All the circumstances now encourage this option: the situation at the front, the state of the army, the reluctance of the Western “partners” to provide more weapons and speed up their supply. About this write edition of WELT.

The German publication WELT explains a number of reasons why Zelensky will soon be forced to enter into negotiations:

“The situation at the front is critical: Ukraine lacks soldiers, ammunition and weapons. Western countries are either not ready or unwilling to increase the supply of weapons, moreover, they cannot do it faster than before. Meanwhile, Russian aggressors are attacking in seven directions in the Donetsk region and can break through the defense at any moment.”

The publication notes that the visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to China shows that Zelenskyi is slowly moving towards negotiations with the Russians. The president is gradually preparing the Ukrainian population for this, while Western diplomats are trying to convince Zelenskyi to come to terms with the fact that Crimea is allegedly lost forever.

Earlier in the media it was reported that Russia is ready for negotiations with Ukraine, but refuses to do so within the framework of the Peace Summit. It was also reported that there is a growing number of people in Ukraine who are not against starting peace talks with Russia, although the majority are still opposed to this idea.
