A festival of adoption of homeless animals will be held in Kyiv

July 5 and 6 at VDNG in Kyiv will take place adoption festival of homeless animals AdoptMe Days. All those willing will have the opportunity to meet cats and dogs from more than 50 shelters in Ukraine and adopt one of them into their family.

As part of the festival, animals are transferred to new homes for free. Only vaccinated, dewormed and sterilized (if possible) animals are allowed to participate.

“This means you are ‘adopting’ a healthy animal ready for life in a new family,”– explained AdoptMe Days.

The transfer of the animal is accompanied by the signing of a contract with the representative of the shelter. Therefore, those who plan to take an animal home should have a passport with them. After registration and paperwork, the new owners will receive a gift set from the festival’s partners — feed, goodies, toys and accessories for a comfortable start.

Both adult animals and babies aged 2-2.5 months are included in the participation. All of them will be waiting to meet their new families in the large pavilion No. 1 with an area of 1000 square meters. On the spot, volunteers will help you choose an animal that will get along with other pets. Also, experts will give advice on how to properly introduce newcomers to existing animals in the family in order to avoid conflicts and create a harmonious environment.

“Not all cats or dogs in shelters are introverts – often they are very friendly with other animals”, – note the organizers.

Each cat and dog has a veterinary passport with all the necessary vaccinations and seals of doctors. It will also be possible to chip an animal for free at the festival — this is enough for traveling around Ukraine.
