The building on Sumska Street, 1, where the famous Kharkiv Gradusnyk is located, was put up for auction with a starting price of 839,000 hryvnias (without VAT). A garage in the area of the Zhuravlivsky hydropark is offered as a package.
The single property complex of the state institution “State Institute of Labor and Socio-Economic Research” was put up for auction as an object of small privatization on July 25, as reported on portals ProZorro.
The lot includes non-residential premises in the building at Sumska Street, 1, as well as a garage at Lazkivskomu Lane, 7. The total area of the property is 4.44 thousand square meters. It is noted that part of the premises of the complex is leased. The value of assets was estimated at 839 thousand hryvnias as of March 31, 2024.
The auction will take place on August 16. The client is the Regional Branch of the State Property Fund of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region.
The building at 1 Sumska Street was built in 1908-1910 according to the project of architects Oskar Munz and Alfred Spiegel in the modern style with elements of classicism. On the first floors, the “Northern” bank was located, on the upper floors – women’s medical courses. In the 1920s, an extension appeared on the building, where the Institute of Experimental Medicine worked.
In the register of monuments of cultural heritage, the object is listed as a monument of history and monumental art of local importance. Prominent scientists V.P. worked in this building. Vorobyov, M.F. Melnikov-Rozvedenkiv and G.F. Folbort.
