A man’s body and fragments of a grenade were found in one of Odessa’s parks: the police began an investigation
This morning, the Odesa police received a report from a local resident about the discovery of a body in a park on Krymsky Boulevard.

“The report about the discovery of a body in the park on Krymskiy Boulevard was received by the police today from a local resident. The investigative and operational team of the Police Department No. 3 of the Odesa District Police Department No. 1, specialists from the Department of the Explosive Service and the Canine Center of the National Police of the Odesa Region arrived at the scene. – the message says.
The investigative team, explosives experts and dog experts immediately arrived at the scene. During the examination, fragments of a hand grenade were found, and injuries characteristic of an explosive injury were found on the body of the deceased, a 43-year-old local resident.
Currently, the police are considering several versions, including suicide and illegal handling of explosives. Forensic experts will determine the final cause of death.
The police continue to investigate all the circumstances of the incident. Currently, the issue of entering information into the Unified Register of Pretrial Investigations under part 1 of Art. 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine with the note “suicide” and Part 1 of Art. 263 (illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives).
