A man was detained in Lviv who, while fleeing from the CCC and the police, put a knife to a girl’s throat
In Lviv, law enforcement officers detained a man who, while fleeing from employees of the territorial recruitment and social support center and the police, grabbed a 13-year-old girl and put a knife to her throat. He held the child, restricting her movement. This was reported by the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
“According to the investigation, the man, fleeing from the CCC and SP employees and law enforcement officers, ran up to a group of teenagers. Having grabbed a 13-year-old girl, he put a knife to her throat. In this way, he held the child, restricting her movement,” the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office said in a statement.
The prosecutor’s office reported that the man released the child after the demand of the CCC and SP servicemen, which was accompanied by a warning about the use of weapons.
Under the procedural guidance of the Frankivsk District Prosecutor’s Office of the city of Lviv, information was entered into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations on the fact of illegal deprivation of liberty of a minor. The defendant was detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
