Since the beginning of the full-scale incursion, the agency has processed about 700 appeals from law enforcement agencies conducting criminal proceedings related to violations at the border. Among the parties involved in the cases are state officials and officials involved in illegal activities involving the movement of persons across the state border.

As a result of ARMA’s investigations, it was possible to identify significant assets that may be related to corrupt activities at the border. In particular, the list of discovered property includes:

  • 700 cars;
  • 390 objects of residential real estate;
  • 138 objects of non-residential real estate;

The agency emphasizes that every resource stolen by corrupt officials must be returned to the state. ARMA, for its part, is ready to ensure effective management of seized assets to replenish the state budget. All discovered assets have been handed over to pre-trial investigation authorities so they can seize them.
