A robot horse that can be ridden was presented in Japan (video)

Japanese company Kawasaki presented the Corleo robot concept is an innovative four-legged device that can not only move over rough terrain, but also jump and jump. It can already be seen at the exhibition in Osaka.

Kawasaki calls the Corleo the future of personal mobility, allowing people to safely travel to hard-to-reach places. At the same time, serial production of the device is expected no earlier than 2050.

Although technical details are currently scarce, it is known that the Corleo is equipped with a 150cc hydrogen engine and generates electricity that powers the motors located in each leg. Instead of traditional control, an on-board computer with artificial intelligence analyzes the position of the robot in space and ensures its stability.

“This is not just a vehicle, but a four-legged off-road vehicle that can move over any terrain, even jump over snowy mountains”, – Kawasaki representatives noted.

In the presentation materials, the robot transports a person through mountains, forests and fields at different times of the day. Judging by the rendering, a neural network was used to create the demo video, and it most likely reflects the engineers’ conceptual vision of Corleo’s capabilities.
