A world record from Apple: the value of the brand exceeded 1 trillion dollars for the first time

For the first time in history, the value of the brand reached more than a trillion dollars. According to the rating data Kantar BrandZ, Apple is currently valued at $1.016 trillion. It is the most expensive brand in the world. Overall, the total value of the 100 most valuable companies increased by 20% over the year. The largest jump was demonstrated by the NVIDIA brand – a chip manufacturer. The company’s price has almost tripled in a year.
In addition to Apple, Google (worth $753.5 billion), Microsoft ($712.9 billion), Amazon ($576.6 billion) and McDonald’s ($221.9 billion) were included in the list of the most valuable brands.
NVIDIA, which this year is valued at $201.8 billion and ranks sixth, has risen 18 positions and has the highest brand value growth (+178%) in 2024.
Also in the top 10 are brands VISA ($189 billion), Facebook ($166.8 billion), the world’s largest developer of software for organizations, a large supplier of server equipment Oracle ($145.5 billion) and Tencent ($135.2 billion ). The latter is a Chinese telecommunications company known for maintaining QQ, the most widespread instant messaging network in China.

The category “Business technologies and service platforms” showed the greatest growth. The total value of brands in the category increased by 45%. This happened in part because of the hype surrounding the improvement of artificial intelligence technologies.

Last year, the Apple brand was valued at 880.5 billion US dollars. Google was worth $577.7 billion, and Microsoft was worth $501.9 billion.
