The situation on the border of the Sumy region remains extremely tense due to the activation of the Russian army. In the village of Grabovskoe, which is located two hundred meters from the state border, on December 20, approximately fifty local residents were taken to the territory of the Russian Federation.

This information was confirmed by the village head Larisa Kremezna. According to her, at the time of the incident, about fifty people remained in the settlement, who were taken outside Ukraine. She also clarified that there were no children among them.

The Deep State analytical project reports that increased activity of Russian military units is being recorded in the Grabovskoye area.

On the same day, civilians were evacuated from the settlements of Ryasne and Lisne. Volunteers of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society and the special police unit “White Angels” joined the evacuation. This was reported by the representative of the Red Cross Olena Stavytska, noting that the teams are ready to continue the evacuation in case of new requests.

In total, during the day, the volunteers managed to evacuate eleven people: nine residents of the village of Ryasne and two residents of Lisne. The regional Red Cross organization reported that this was only a fraction of the people who were in these villages, as other residents refused to leave their homes.
