After November 1, Ukrainian citizens will be able to apply for a deferral online and at ASNs
The government has approved changes to the rules for issuing deferrals from mobilization. Starting November 1, they will be extended automatically, and applications for them can be submitted via smartphone in the “Reserve+” application or at the Central Service Center. This was reported by the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
“The goal is to make the process as transparent as possible and relieve the unnecessary burden on the CCC and the Joint Venture so that they can focus on mobilization tasks“, the message states.
According to estimates, more than 600 thousand Ukrainians will receive automatic extension of deferrals.
“If all the data for the deferral is in the registers, the system will extend it automatically – without repeated applications and queues at the CCC. This applies, in particular, to people with disabilities, parents with many children, students, scientists and other categories defined by Government Resolution No. 560, the ministry explained.
Also, some of the most common types of deferrals can now be issued online through the “Reserve+” application. Currently, nine options are available in the application, and two more will be added in November.
The Ministry of Digital Affairs noted that users will receive a digital document with a QR code in the application, which can be presented from a phone or printed. Both options have the same legal force.
“For those who cannot use a smartphone or whose type of deferral has not yet been added to “Reserve+”, an application can be submitted to the Central Administrative Service Center. The administrator will enter the data into the electronic system via the Action Portal and submit the application to the CCC, the department added.
