April 15: holidays and memorable dates

A number of holidays and interesting events that took place in different parts of the world are celebrated every year on April 15.
Day of criminal investigation workers, which is celebrated in Ukraine in honor of the date of creation of the section of judicial and criminal investigation in 1919. Operatives of the criminal investigation perform complex operations – they fight crime, as well as prevent criminal phenomena.
World Art Day. The date of the celebration was chosen in honor of the birthday of the famous Leonardo da Vinci, who was born on this day in 1452. The event was founded by the United Nations in 2012.
The International Day of Environmental Knowledge is celebrated by the world community with the aim of spreading environmental knowledge around the planet.
International Biomedical Laboratory Day is an annual event celebrated in honor of scientists and workers of biomedical laboratories for their important contribution to health care.
McDonald’s birthday – the first McDonald’s franchise was opened on this day in 1955 by Ray Kroc in Des Plaines.
The date of the signing of the Paris Agreement in 1949, which was concluded between NATO member countries and established collective defense and mutual assistance between these countries.
International Monarchy Day, timed to honor monarchical systems in different countries of the world. The holiday reminds of the historical and cultural legacy that the monarchy left in society.
Holocaust Remembrance Day – on this day, the international community honors the memory of millions of Jews killed during the Second World War.
