At a ski resort in Georgia, 12 dead were found dead in a restaurant

In the ski resort of Gudauri in Georgia, the bodies of 12 dead people were found in an Indian restaurant. About this it is said in the notification of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, among them are 11 foreigners and one citizen of the country. The dead were in the sleeping area on the second floor of the restaurant, and according to preliminary information, all of them were employees of the establishment.

Law enforcement officers note that there are no signs of violence on the bodies. Preliminarily, it was established that a generator was placed in a closed room near the bedrooms, which was probably turned on after a power outage. Violation of safety techniques could have led to tragic consequences, but the final cause of death will be determined after forensic examination.

Forensic experts and investigators are working at the scene. Law enforcement officers are interviewing witnesses to establish the circumstances of the tragedy. The incident is being investigated as part of a criminal case under Article 116 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which provides for liability for causing death due to negligence.

The investigation is ongoing, and law enforcement agencies promise to provide additional information after expert investigations are completed.
