Business asks to postpone the implementation of new requirements for fiscal checks

Ukrainian companies appealed to the Ministry of Finance to extend the transition period for another 6 months to ensure the correct implementation of the new requirements for the form and content of fiscal checks. About this informs press service of the European Business Association
Entrepreneurs support initiatives that promote transparency of payments, and emphasize the importance of a constructive dialogue between business and the state for effective implementation of changes. At the same time, in the process of adaptation to new standards, they encountered a number of technical and operational difficulties.
It is, in particular, about the need to reprogram the cash register equipment at retail outlets, update software in accordance with new standards, train employees and inform software manufacturers, including foreign partners. In addition, businesses have to conduct testing and eliminate possible errors, which requires additional time.
In view of these challenges, business calls on the Ministry of Finance to extend the transition period by another six months:
“This will allow companies to correctly update their systems and software, as well as avoid the risk of fines for late compliance.”
