Business owners affected by the war get a chance to recover through the Strength 2 programme

Business owners affected by the war were given the opportunity to participate in the special educational and scholarship program “Strength 2”. This initiative is aimed at supporting entrepreneurs from the most affected regions of Ukraine, such as Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhya, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson and Chernihiv regions. Within the framework of the program, participants will be able to obtain the necessary knowledge and financial assistance to restore or develop their activities. The program includes three educational modules covering key topics such as marketing, business digitalization and scaling. Individual consultations with a psychologist and mentoring support are also provided for each participant.
After the training, 42 entrepreneurs will receive scholarships to support their businesses. In addition, they will be able to compete for major grants to purchase the necessary equipment. The winners will receive rewards in the amount of 820,000, 615,000 and 492,000 hryvnias, respectively.
The total fund of scholarships within the framework of the “Strength 2” program exceeds 12.7 million hryvnias. The program will start in November 2024 and will last three months. Participants can receive training both online and offline, depending on availability.

The educational and scholarship program “Strength 2” is implemented by the Diya.Business network of entrepreneur support centers with the assistance of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the Office for Entrepreneurship and Export Development, as well as with the support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) as part of the “Strengthening Public Trust” project (UCBI).
