China to ban export of civilian drones suitable for military use: AR
American media and intelligence reported that Russia is buying drones from China for military use.

Starting September 1, China will ban the export of all unregulated civilian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) that could be used for military purposes or for terrorist activities. About this informs Associated Press.
“China says it will ban the export of all unregulated civilian drones that could be used for military or terrorist purposes. Some of the drones’ functions will be restricted as the country faces ongoing criticism from the West over its stance on Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.”, the message says.
China’s Ministry of Commerce said the decision was aimed at preventing the use of drones in the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. Aspects such as infrared target indexing lasers and high-precision inertial measurement equipment will be placed on the export control list.
China, one of the world’s largest producers of unmanned aerial vehicles, is seeking to tighten controls on their exports to prevent its technology from being used in conflicts and acts of terrorism. This decision was taken against the background of growing international pressure, which calls for more responsible regulation of the export of military technology.
Previously, the US media and government intelligence have repeatedly stated that Russia is buying drones from China for military use. Banning the export of unregulated drones could affect the supply of such technology to Russia, which in turn could weaken its ability to use advanced technologies on the battlefield.
Analysts believe that this decision by China may have a significant impact on the global market for unmanned aerial vehicles. Lack of access to Chinese drones may force some countries to seek alternative sources of supply or develop their own technology.
