Christmas performance in the Ukrainian church in the city of Oradea: how children gave hope and joy (video)

Ukrainian refugees who found refuge in Romania make great efforts to preserve their culture and traditions and pass them on to their children. This becomes especially important during major holidays such as Christmas. Ukrainian communities in different parts of Romania organize events that help preserve national identity, support the spirit and unite people in a difficult time for them. One such example was the event that took place in the Ukrainian church in the city of Oradea, which was attended by the “FAKT” IA.

Christmas holiday in the Ukrainian church

On December 26, a bright Christmas event was held in the Ukrainian Christian Church in Oradea, where more than 60 people gathered. The program of the festive evening included Ukrainian carols, poems and songs performed by children and teenagers, who once again demonstrated how much Ukrainians value their traditions even outside their native land.

A special atmosphere was created by children who sang carols with trepidation and enthusiasm. Their performances not only conveyed the spirit of Christmas, but also emphasized the importance of cultural connection between generations. Singing and reciting poems became a real gift for all present, filling the hall with warmth, joy and hope.

Such a treat was not only an opportunity to taste delicious food, but also a wonderful opportunity to communicate, share memories and impressions, and strengthen the sense of unity.

The importance of such events for the community

This Christmas performance became not only a festive event, but also an important stage in the preservation of national traditions and the unity of the Ukrainian community in Romania.
