Co-owner of Nova Poshta announces large-scale audit of the company
Co-owner of Nova Poshta, Volodymyr Popereshnyuk announced about a large-scale audit of business processes of a company with 30,000 employees. According to him, the main purpose of the audit is to avoid bureaucracy and preserve the company’s ability to quickly implement innovations.
“One of the ideas is to create a company efficiency department, similar to DOGE. But a commercial company is not a government. Businesses usually need all employees, and it is very difficult to find those who can be fired without loss to the company. Moreover, our task is not so much to reduce costs, but to expand our business, expand to other markets and innovate, and this is in no way correlated with reducing staff.” Popereshniuk noted.
He explained that the audit will concern employees who do not participate in operational activities, that is, do not work directly with parcels. According to Popereshnyuk, such employees are planned to be divided into two categories: those who support the company’s vital activities, and those who contribute to its development and improvement. Such an approach will help to avoid the transformation of the company into an “inflexible, bureaucratic corporation”, where the main principle of management is “not to make a mistake”.
“And the main thing is to find unnecessary and harmful processes that are worth getting rid of. It is important to remove everything that prevents the company from developing and moving forward. But the effort is worth it, because such reforms should turn a good company into the best.” Popereshniuk stressed.
