“We need the Senate to convict him this time, and I want you to know, from the bottom of my heart, I understand that he is a Goliath. He controls the generals in the military. He controls the Justice Department. He controls the Republican Party, but my friends, for every Goliath there is a David.”, – Green addressed the participants of the anti-Trump rally in Washington.
In addition, he made a direct appeal to Trump, saying that he would “become the same David.”
“And I want you to know, Mr. President, this David is going to bring impeachment charges against you within the next 30 days. Within the next 30 days, I’m going to file an impeachment suit. I’m coming for you. Mr. President, this David is coming for you.” – he emphasized.
Green also said that Trump “cannot be trusted with freedom and justice for all” and threatened to have him removed from power.
