Denmark handed over the second batch of F-16 aircraft to Ukraine

The second batch of F-16 fighters, transferred to Ukraine by Denmark, has already arrived in the country. About this reported President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi. He also thanked the Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, her team and the entire Danish people for their support.

“This is the leadership in the protection of life that distinguishes Denmark. The first batch of planes provided by the Danes are already shooting down Russian missiles and saving our people, our infrastructure. Now our air shield is additionally strengthened. Earlier it was reported that Denmark will transfer three batches of F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine. These aircraft are an important element of the defense of Ukrainian skies and are effectively used to destroy Russian missiles. Zelensky noted that two days ago, F-16s shot down seven enemy cruise missiles, confirming the high effectiveness of this type of weaponry.

The transfer of modern fighters was a significant contribution to the strengthening of Ukraine’s defense capabilities and a demonstration of the unity of the international community in the fight against Russian aggression.
