“Diya” has begun beta testing a new online service for filing tax returns

The “Diya” application has begun beta testing a new online service for submitting a tax declaration on property status and income. The developers of the service announced the launch.

“We are launching a beta test of a new service in “Diya” – submitting a tax declaration on property status and income. And we are looking for those who want to try it first”, — the message states.

The new service allows Ukrainians to remotely declare income or use the right to a tax discount and refund part of the paid personal income tax. All this can be done without visiting the tax authorities and without filling out paper documents.

The service is designed for citizens who received a salary with personal income tax withheld, and also had expenses subject to a tax deduction. This includes, in particular, tuition, medical treatment, life insurance, mortgage payments and other expenses provided for by the Tax Code.

Citizens of Ukraine – individuals who are entitled to a tax deduction can join the beta test. The service is available exclusively to individuals.

It was also previously reported that decisions on the payment of VAT by individuals – entrepreneurs with an annual turnover of 1 million hryvnias will be made subject to the improvement and simplification of tax administration.
