“Diya” is testing a new online service for one-time payments for the military
The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, together with the Ministry of Defense, are launching a beta test of a new service on the “Diia” portal, thanks to which active military personnel will be able to submit applications for one-time cash assistance in an online format. “Diia” reports on the launch of the test .
All military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine can join the beta test. At the same time, it will not be possible to receive the payment again if the person has already applied for such assistance, and the disability group or percentage of loss of work capacity has remained unchanged.
To submit an application, you need to register on a special page, specify your full name, social security number and email address, and then wait for a notification about the start of beta testing.
Previously, to apply for such payments, servicemen had to personally contact the military unit and collect a package of documents. After the service is launched, the entire procedure will be available online, which should simplify and speed up the process of obtaining assistance for defenders.
The project is being implemented with the participation of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs, the Ministry of Social Policy, the Pension Fund of Ukraine, the Office of Effective Regulation of BRDO, as well as the “Action Support Project”, which is implemented by UNDP in Ukraine with financial support from Sweden.
It was also previously reported that from March 1, 2026, payments will increase in Ukraine for the families of defenders who died or went missing while defending Ukraine from Russian aggression.
