Donald Trump announced the visit of European leaders to the USA to discuss the end of the war in Ukraine
Several European leaders plan to visit the US for talks on ending the war between Ukraine and Russia. This was stated US President Donald Trump, addressing journalists after returning from the US Open tournament in New York.
“Some European leaders will come to our country on Monday or Tuesday individually”, the head of the White House noted, without clarifying who exactly he meant.
The US president emphasized that he is “not satisfied” the course of the war between Russia and Ukraine, answering journalists’ questions about the large-scale air attack on Sunday night, when the debris of a drone caused a fire in the building of the Cabinet of Ministers in Kyiv.
“It’s connected with the gas pipeline, as you know, “Nord Stream-2” and many other things. But I am not satisfied. I am unhappy with this whole situation. It does not concern us, because these are not our soldiers. But they will experience losses“, he explained.
At the same time, Trump again emphasized that the war will end soon:
“Very soon, within the next few days, I will talk to Putin. Listen, we’ll do it. We are managing the situation between Russia and Ukraine. I’m sure we will do it”.
