Donald Trump appointed Keith Kellogg as special representative for Ukraine

US President Donald Trump announced the appointment of General Keith Kellogg as the special envoy of the United States to Ukraine. Appropriate statement Trump did through his social network TRUTH Social.

“I am pleased to inform you that General Keith Kellogg has been appointed as a special representative to Ukraine. General Kellogg, a highly respected military expert, will communicate directly with President Zelenskyi and the Ukrainian leadership. He knows them well and they have a very good working relationship. Congratulations General Kellogg!”, – said in the statement.

It will be recalled that Kellogg previously held the position of the US special representative for Ukraine and Russia. His military experience and knowledge of the situation in the region determined his key role in diplomatic negotiations.

At the same time, some mass media reported that Kellogg had previously been suspended from participating in peace talks at the request of the Russian Federation. In particular, he was not present at the American-Ukrainian talks that took place on March 11 in Saudi Arabia.

Kellogg’s appointment shows the intention of the US to strengthen interaction with Ukraine and promote constructive dialogue at the highest level. This decision may be important for the development of further diplomatic relations between Kyiv and Washington, as well as for achieving stability and peace in the region.
