During the day from December 13 to 14, energy workers managed to restore electricity supply to 40,156 consumers throughout the territory of Ukraine. About this reported press service of the Ministry of Energy.
“Last day, energy companies restored power to 40,156 consumers who were cut off as a result of hostilities,” – the message says.
The day before, Russian troops carried out another massive attack on energy infrastructure facilities, which caused damage to the country’s generating capacity. For the current day, the total import of electricity is forecast to be 15,898 MWh. The situation with water supply at the ZNPP remains stable.
The Ministry of Energy also said that the transmission system operator is temporarily implementing hourly outage schedules. Current information on schedules is available on the official resources of regional distribution operators. Consumers are encouraged to stay tuned throughout the day.
Power outages will not apply to critical infrastructure enterprises, as well as companies that import more than 60% of the required electricity for their needs in accordance with the government’s decree.
