Early parliamentary elections began in France
Early parliamentary elections have begun in France, which are held in two rounds. The main favorite of the first round is considered to be the right-wing party “National Unity” under the leadership of Marine Le Pen. According to the results of sociological polls, this party can get about 36% of voters’ votes, which makes the second round of elections quite likely.

The right-wing National Union party led by Marine Le Pen and its allies claim 36.2% of the vote, according to the latest polls.
Voting in France’s overseas territories has already begun on Saturday, while polling stations on the mainland will open at 08:00 local time on Sunday. The first results are expected after 20:00. In the first round, the “National Union” is expected to win between 250 and 280 mandates in the National Assembly, but a minimum of 289 seats is needed to obtain a majority. In second place according to the polls is the left-wing alliance “New People’s Front”, which can get about 27% of the voters’ votes, which corresponds to approximately 150-170 mandates.
The third place according to the polls belongs to the pro-presidential block “Together”, which counts on 20% of voter support. This corresponds to 90 to 110 seats in the parliament. According to polls, the conservative party “Republicans” can count on 10% of the vote, which corresponds to approximately 35-45 seats in the parliament.
