Energy companies have fully restored the consumers of Cherkasy region and reduced the amount of blackouts in Kharkiv region

Energy workers managed to restore power supply to all consumers of the Cherkasy region, which were cut off as a result of the night attack, as well as reduce the scale of blackouts in the Kharkiv region. At the same time, emergency shutdowns continue in Kyiv and seven regions, reported the Ministry of Energy.

“Thanks to the already completed restoration works, the power industry managed to partially reduce the amount of emergency restrictions for consumers in the Kharkiv region. Consumers of the Cherkasy region are fully recovered, the Ministry of Energy said in a statement.

According to the ministry, forced emergency shutdowns are applied in Kyiv, Kyiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions. Hourly blackout schedules continue to apply in Chernihiv Oblast.

As of 2:30 p.m., emergency shutdowns were recorded in Kyiv and eight other regions – Kyiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, and partially Cherkasy, while hourly shutdowns continued in Chernihiv region.

After the Russian attack on Friday “Sumyoblenergo” introduced special schedules of emergency shutdowns, for a certain time they were also used by Poltavaoblenergo. Company “DTEK” reported that on the command of “Ukrenergo” after the massive attack, emergency shutdowns are carried out in the Kyiv region (Brovary and Boryspil districts), as well as in Dnipropetrovsk.

The company “Ukrenergo” stated that the most difficult situation with energy supply remains in Kyiv, as well as in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Sumy, Poltava, and Chernihiv regions.
