Russian troops are conducting active combat operations in many directions, the hottest zone is Pokrovsk: General Staff

According to data of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of 23:00 on December 27, 117 combat clashes took place on the front. The largest number of attacks was recorded in the Pokrov direction – 31, Kostyantynivs’kyi – 18, Oleksandrivs’kyi – 15, Lymans’kyi – 14 and Hulyaipil’s’kyi – 12.

In the Severno-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, Ukrainian troops repelled one enemy assault attempt. The Russians carried out one airstrike with three guided bombs and conducted 117 shellings.

In the South Slobozhansk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders seven times near Starytsia, Vovchansk, Prylipka, as well as in the direction of Lyman and Hryhorivka. One clash is still ongoing.

In the Kup’yansk direction, Russian units carried out three assault operations near Petropavlivka and Pishchane.

The Lyman direction suffered 14 attacks by the Russians in the areas of Seredne, Novoselivka, Druzhelyubivka, Oleksandrivka, Lyman, Stavky and Drobysheve. Ukrainian troops repel one enemy attack.

In the Slavyansk direction, the enemy tried to break through the defenses near Serebryanka five times.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian troops repelled three attacks in the areas of Vasyukivka, Predtechyny and in the direction of Bondarny.

The Kostyantynivka direction suffered 18 attacks by the Russians, whose efforts were concentrated near Kostyantynivka, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Pleshchiivka and in the direction of Sofiivka and Stepanivka.

In the Pokrovsky direction, the enemy tried to break through the Ukrainian defenses 31 times in the areas of Chervonyi Lyman, Myrnograd, Pokrovsk, Kotlyny, Udachny, Molodetsky, Dachny, Filia, as well as in the direction of Novyi Shakhovye, Dorozhny, Rodynsky and Hryshyn. Two clashes are ongoing. During the fighting in this direction, 106 occupiers were neutralized, 77 of them irretrievably.

In the Oleksandrivsky direction, Ukrainian troops repelled 15 attacks in the areas of Yalta, Vyshneve, Oleksandrivsky, Verbovye, Pryvilny, Rybny and near Andriivka-Klevtsovoye.

The Gulyaipol direction suffered 12 enemy attacks near Gulyaipol, Bilogir’ye and in the direction of Dobropillya, three clashes are ongoing. Zaliznychne was hit by an airstrike.

On the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian troops stopped one attack near Shcherbaky.

The Pridneprovsky direction repelled three enemy attacks in the area of ​​the Antonivskyi bridge.
