Svyrydenko noted that these funds will allow to accelerate the supply of generators, energy equipment and mobile thermal power plants. During the negotiations, the parties also discussed Ukraine’s preparations for the winter period and agreed to create a joint working group on energy and expand industrial cooperation.

“A Ukrainian-German business forum will be held in Berlin in December, which can become an effective platform for new partnerships between our companies”, the head of government noted.

Svyrydenko also reported that Kyiv had proposed to Berlin to conclude an intergovernmental agreement to support investors based on the model already used by Denmark, the Netherlands, France and Switzerland.

“Today, macro-financial support is particularly important, and our German partners support any path that will allow these assets to be used to help Ukraine and end the war as soon as possible”, added the head government.
