The Military Chaplaincy Service of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine together with the Association of Muslims of Ukraine presented a prayer book designed specifically for Muslim soldiers who defend our country. The presentation of the prayer book took place in the premises of the Association of Muslims of Ukraine.
At this solemn event, the head of the Military Chaplaincy Service, Kostyantyn Kholodov, presented a thank you from the GUR of the MoU to Mufti Ayder Rustemov, under whose patronage the prayer book was issued.
The representatives of GUR MOU expressed special words of gratitude to Sheikh Suleiman Khairullayev, head of the Association of Muslims of Ukraine, for his active participation in the creation of the publication.
Sheikh Suleiman emphasized the importance of this prayer book, especially given that there are many Muslims, particularly Crimean Tatars, among Ukrainian military personnel.
“Prayer to God is an integral part of the spiritual life of a soldier who defends his land from an aggressor. The spirit of a warrior is a potential that cannot be measured or explored, but it is he who is capable of bringing victory. The spirit of a Ukrainian warrior is our most valuable treasure, which is admired the whole world”Kostyantyn Kholodov emphasized during a meeting at the Association of Muslims of Ukraine.
