Half of the men of military age who went abroad express their readiness to return to Ukraine even before the end of the war, if the reservation issue is resolved. About this reported Deputy Prime Minister for National Unity Oleksiy Chernyshov during a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Human Rights.
“50% of men of draft age are ready to return to Ukraine today, without waiting for the end of the war, if the reservation issue is resolved. That is, the war today is not the factor that stops men from returning. Of course, they are intimidated by the issue of possible mobilization. Is this bad or well, we will evaluate this later, but it is the way it is”, – said the minister.
He also emphasized that the state should actively encourage its citizens to return, creating favorable conditions for them. And at the same time, to support those who remain abroad so that they feel that they can return home at any time.
We would like to remind you that after registration of reservation lists through the “Diya” portal, the transfer of conscripts to a special record is carried out automatically with the help of the Unified State Register of Conscripts, Conscripts and Reservists (EDRP).
