“If these ignoramuses continue to work in the Cabinet, the country will lose everything”: Dmytro Razumkov called for the government to resign
For several months in a row, conversations about the unsatisfactory work of the current government have been getting louder and louder on the sidelines of the parliament. Deputies of various political factions, experts, public figures point to systematic miscalculations of the Cabinet of Ministers in the most sensitive areas for the country. At the same time, tension is growing in society: in social networks, users openly express their indignation at the government’s failures, in particular, in matters of financing the army, economic policy, supporting small businesses and the social sphere. This dissatisfaction grew into a clear demand for responsibility, and it was in this atmosphere that People’s Deputy of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov initiated the resignation of the current members of the Cabinet of Ministers.
Dmytro Razumkov said that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine should resign because, according to him, it failed in absolutely all areas of its work. He emphasized the critical deficit of the budget, the chronic lack of money for the army, as well as the fact that for the second year in a row there is a threat of untimely payment of funds to defenders.
He separately emphasized that one of the main failures of the government’s work is precisely this budget deficit, the lack of funds for the army and the constant threat of payments to our military, which has been going on for the second year in a row. Razumkov emphasized that for the second year in a row Ukraine is faced with the same “mistake” of the Cabinet of Ministers — a lack of funds for the army already in the first half of the year. However, if such a “mistake” is repeated again, it is no longer negligence, it is a crime.
According to him, the Cabinet of Ministers has repeatedly demonstrated its complete incompetence. Among the failures in the work of the government, Razumkov named the formation of the budget, financial forecasts, and the distribution of funds. In his opinion, the government has “earned” its resignation more than once. He added that the Verkhovna Rada already has relevant initiatives, but there is no clear position of the monomajority, which was appointed by the government.
Razumkov drew attention to the foreign policy sphere, where, according to him, the government has also collapsed. He stated that due to the inaction of the Cabinet of Ministers, Ukraine has lost its economic visa-free status, and the economy receives at least 3.5 billion euros annually. He added that now the fall in industrial production is 6.1 percent.
In addition, Dmytro Razumkov emphasized the problems with rising tariffs and the tax burden. According to him, the result of such a policy was the mass closure of hundreds of thousands of individual entrepreneurs and, accordingly, the loss of jobs.
The People’s Deputy of Ukraine also announced the beginning of collecting signatures for the resignation of the government. He called for the consolidation of the Verkhovna Rada in this matter, which, according to him, is the body to which this government is accountable. According to Razumkov, the unification of the parliament, all factions and parties, will be the step that can really save the state. He emphasized that if such measures are not taken, the country may lose everything that our military is protecting today at the front.
Dmytro Razumkov emphasized:
“Now the entire parliament, to which this government is accountable, must unite. There is no politics here. This is a step that, without exaggeration, will be lifesaving for our state. After all, if these ignoramuses continue to work in the Cabinet, we will simply lose everything, everything that our defenders at the front protect today. All that the rear does, providing both the social sector and our army with you!”
Razumkov also said that the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal should resign. According to the politician, this would be “at least a responsible decision after everything his team has brought the country to”.
“I will only remind: the Cabinet of Ministers is accountable to the Parliament. And if his incompetence ultimately leads to catastrophic consequences, then people will not come to the ministers for answers. Because they will quickly flee to the western borders, as they did in February 2022. The people will come to the deputies and remind them that it was the parliamentary majority with their submissive voting that implemented all the harmful initiatives of the officials!” – withdesignated Dmytro Razumkov.
