Over the past month, the supply of milk and condensed cream to Ukraine increased to 116 tons (+25%), whey to 512 tons (+41%), cheese to 3.3 thousand tons (+8%), and ice cream to to 266 tons (+51%). The lion’s share of imports consists of cheeses, which are more attractive in price than products of domestic production.
Ukraine imported dairy products from Great Britain, EU countries, Switzerland, Norway, New Zealand, Serbia and Moldova. In general, in January-April 2024, Ukraine imported 18.89 thousand tons of dairy products, which is 5% more compared to the same period last year.
