“In Poltava, the locomotive depot, power supply line, traction substations were affected. Administrative and warehouse premises, rolling stock were damaged. Due to the attack, the Kharkiv-Lviv, Lviv-Kharkiv, Kramatorsk-Lviv trains were temporarily delayed – now they are all in motion, the report says.

As a result of shelling, an energy facility was damaged, leaving more than a thousand households in Poltava and nearby settlements without electricity. Headquarters are working on the ground to eliminate the consequences of the strikes. Specialists conduct surveys of territories, restore energy supply and provide assistance to residents. Railway traffic has already stabilized, critical infrastructure is gradually returning to work.

“The goal of the enemy is obvious – Russia is trying to use cold and darkness as a weapon. The enemy wants to disrupt the heating season and paralyze the work of Ukrzaliznytsia, which remains a critical artery of the country, Oleksiy Kuleba noted.
