During the day, 198 combat clashes were recorded at the front. The Ukrainian military continues to resolutely restrain the enemy’s attempts to advance deep into the territory, inflicting significant losses on him by fire damage. In the Orykhiv direction, the units of the Russian Federation tried to attack the positions of the Ukrainian troops seven times, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian forces carried out one missile strike, firing 32 missiles, as well as 34 air strikes using 71 guided bombs. In addition, the enemy used 2,016 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,062 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas. 12 combat clashes took place in the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions. The enemy launched 101 artillery barrages, including two from rocket salvo systems.
In the South-Slobozhansk direction, 24 attacks were recorded in the areas of Vovchansk, Vovchansk Khutori, Zapadny, Kamianka, Dovgenky, as well as in the direction of Kutkivka, Dvorichansky, Odradny, Bologhivka, and Kolodyazny. In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy tried to advance 11 times in the areas of Stepova Novoselivka, Pishchany, Petropavlivka, Bohuslavka and in the direction of Kurylivka. Three battles are still going on there.
In the direction of Lyman, the Defense Forces repelled 14 assaults in the areas of Novy Mir, Kopanok, Drobyshevy, Shandrygolovo, Karpivka, Ridkodub, Derylov, Seredny, Torsky, and in the direction of Olhivka. Eight more clashes are ongoing. In the Slavyansk direction, the enemy attacked seven times near Dronivka, Yampol and Hryhorivka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, since the beginning of the day, one attack has been recorded in the direction of Virolyubivka. 16 battles took place in the Konstantinov direction. The enemy tried to storm the positions of Ukrainian units in the areas of Pleshchiivka, Predtechyny, Toretsk, Kleban-Byk, Rusyny Yar, Poltavka and in the direction of Berestk.
In the direction of Pokrovsky, the enemy carried out 51 attacks in the areas of Shahovo, Volodymyrivka, Zatyshka, Nikanorivka, Rodinsky, Myrolyubivka, Novoeconomy, Mirnograd, Lysivka, Pokrovsk, Zvirovo, Kotlyny, Novoukrainka, Udachny, Molodetsky, Gorykhovy, Filia and in the direction of Novopavlivka. Ukrainian defenders stopped 47 attacks, battles continue in four more points. In this direction, 198 occupiers were neutralized, of which 140 were irreversibly. One artillery system, eight units of automobile equipment, 61 drones, six armored vehicles, another artillery system and 12 enemy shelters were also destroyed.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, 21 attacks were repelled in the areas of Andriyivka-Klevtsovoy, Aleksandrograd, Sichnevy, Verbovoy, Novovasylivskyi, Tolstoy, Sosnivka, Novogrigorivka, Malynyvka, and Poltavka. Five more battles continue.
In the direction of Gulyaipil, the enemy did not carry out offensive actions, but it carried out airstrikes in the Zaporozhye and Zaliznychny areas. In the Orihiv direction, the occupiers tried seven times to attack the positions of Ukrainian troops near Kamiansky, Stepovoy and Plavny. In the Dnieper direction, the enemy made five unsuccessful attempts to storm Ukrainian positions.
