In the Pokrovsky direction, Russian units tried to break through the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine 57 times: General Staff

During the day, 168 combat clashes were recorded on the front. In the Pokrovsky direction, Russian units tried to break through the Ukrainian defense 57 times, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In the North-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, Ukrainian soldiers repelled seven enemy attacks, and two more combat clashes are ongoing. The invaders carried out ten air strikes, dropping 24 guided bombs, and also carried out 149 shelling, three of which were from multiple rocket launcher systems.

In the South-Slobozhansky direction, the enemy stormed the positions of Ukrainian defenders nine times near Vovchansk, Bologivka and in the direction of Bochkovye. In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy conducted nine assault operations, trying to break through the defense of the Defense Forces in the areas of Stepovaya Novoselivka, Zeleny Gay and towards Pishchane.

In the Lymansk direction, Russian troops attacked Ukrainian positions nine times near Srednye, Mirnye, Shandryholovy, Nadiya and Zarechnye. Fighting is still ongoing in two locations. In the Slavyansk direction, six enemy attempts to break through were recorded in the areas of Yampol, Serebryanka, Viyimka, Fedorivka and towards Zvanivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, one combat engagement took place – the enemy tried to advance near Orikhovo-Vasylivka. In the Kostyantynivka direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions 25 times, concentrating its main efforts in the areas of Oleksandro-Kalynovy, Shcherbynivka, Pleshchiivka, Yablunivka and Rusyny Yar.

In the Pokrovsky direction, since the beginning of the day, 57 attempts to break through the Ukrainian defenses have been recorded in the areas of the settlements of Nykanorivka, Pankivka, Sukhetske, Rodynske, Myrolyubivka, Promyn, Lysivka, Pokrovsk, Zvirovo, Molodetske, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novoukrainka and Horikhove. Fighting continues in a number of points.

The defense forces are holding back the enemy’s offensive, which is suffering significant losses – today 97 occupiers have been eliminated in this direction, 68 of them – irretrievably. Two units of automotive equipment, an armored personnel carrier and a means of electronic warfare have been destroyed. Two multiple launch rocket systems, two armored combat vehicles, one piece of automotive equipment, and another electronic warfare device were damaged. Ukrainian defenders also hit five enemy shelters.

In the Oleksandrivske direction, the Defense Forces repelled 14 enemy attacks near Zeleny Gay, Filia, Piddubny, Oleksandrovka, Novoselivka, Verbovye, Oleksiivka, Novohrygorivka, and Uspenivka. Six more clashes are ongoing. In the Hulyaipilske direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped three enemy attempts to advance near Malynivka and in the direction of Novomykolaivka.

In the Orikhivske direction, the enemy tried to break through four times in the areas of Kamyanske, Prymorske, and Novoandreivka. In the Prydniprovske direction, the enemy made four unsuccessful offensive attempts and suffered losses.
