Former official of the Logistics Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is accused of enrichment by UAH 56 million and false declarations
Prosecutors of the Prosecutor General’s Office sent an indictment to the court against the former head of the Central Department of Food Supply of the Rear Front of the Logistics Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on suspicion of illegal enrichment and submission of false information in the declaration (Article 368-5, Part 1 of Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). .
Investigation established, that the former official, being an official with civil service functions, illegally acquired assets in the amount of almost 56 million hryvnias. Among the property he owns is a 2022 Toyota car, an apartment in Kyiv, a special regional medical base in Khmelnytskyi with a total area of 2,022 square meters. m, 53 land plots in different regions and a single property complex of the Khmelnytsky Prosthetic and Orthopedic Enterprise.
In addition, the investigation found out that in the declaration for 2022, the accused deliberately provided inaccurate data about the availability of cash in the amount of more than UAH 2 million. According to official data on the income of the official himself and his family members, they were not able to accumulate such savings.
According to the court’s decision, assets acquired illegally were seized. Pre-trial investigation and operational support are carried out by the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI).
